During the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Illinois Small Business Development Center at SSEGI is available virtually and continues to host client advising sessions. We continue to encourage our staff, clients and partners to take the necessary precautions to help ensure your health and safety.

The Illinois Small Business Development Center at SSEGI is a collaborative partnership between the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association (SSMMA) and the South Suburban Economic Growth Initiative.

We service all of the Southland’s entrepreneurial and small business ecosystem, through a hub-and-spoke system of spaces and partner outreach that engages entrepreneurs and businesses throughout the Southland.  We are centered in a transit-oriented commercial and community space for entrepreneurs in East Hazel Crest.
